Promoting Excellence in Maryland's Trauma Care

A collaborative statewide approach to address issues related to all aspects of trauma care delivery

Nurse, EMS, & Clinical Data Abstractor Education Opportunities

Welcome to our Education Opportunities page. This page will house opportunities for Nurses, EMS, and Clinical Data Abstractors to expand their knowledge on injury prevention, initial emergency response, and traumatic injuries and clinical care.

Please reach out to your Trauma Center’s TPM, your EMS Leader, or MIEMSS to gain access to the desired education and receive credit for completion.

Goal: to establish a centralized educational material repository, accessible to the paramedics and EMTs, nurses, and clinical data abstractors of the Maryland Trauma system. This comprehensive resource hub will provide evidence-based information, best practices, and training materials to enhance understanding, responsiveness, and innovation in addressing traumatic injuries.
